Flaxbread with a sweet twist
Ingredients:
- 250 grams flour (in my case very often buckwheat flour)
- 1/2 tsp xanthan gum, psyllium husk, baking powder (if not baking gluten free you can leave out the first two)
- 100cc oil (preferably vegetable oil)
- 3 eggs or egg replacement
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup whole flaxseed
- 3 bananas mashed
- 1 cup peanut pieces
- 1 tsp chili sauce
- 2 tbsp rum
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- Mix the eggs, then add in the oil, bananas peanut pieces and spices
- Mix dry and wet ingredients
- Bake in a buttered bread baking pan for 45 minutes in a pre heated oven on 170 degrees celsius
