There are quite a few grains, soyproducts etc you can't use, just make sure to have quinoa in stock!
Even now that I have been re-introducing a variety of products in my diet my kitchen cupboard is never without it.

I have always used soy yoghurt and soy cream but it is very difficult to find out if it's the "right"kind.
The products I should be able to eat are the ones that use the soy protein not the soybean.
Over the last few weeks I have discovered this is a pretty tough search.
The cream I used certainly is made from the entire bean so I was looking for a replacement.
Something to use in sauces, desserts and everything in between.

Quinoa cream
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 cup rice milk
- spices to your liking
- Mix the cooked quinoa with the milk and the spices
- Cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the quinoa is very soft
- Use a blender to mix into a smooth liquid, adding extra milk if a more liquid mixture is needed
So now that we have a nice creamy sauce what can we do with it?
How about some spicy peanut sauce..........
Peanut sauce the quinoa way
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup creamy peanutbutter
- 3 tbsp powdered peanubutter or well grinded peanuts
- 1 tbsp red sauce
- 3 tbsp pesto (check basics)
- 2 tsp minced ginger
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup quinoa cream
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together and stir well.
Add more coconut or cream depending on how thick you want this sauce to be
Or if you prefer something sweet how about this recipe?
Quinoa cream, vanilla, rum and chocolate..................yes please!
chocolate pudding the quinoa way
Ingredients:
. 100 grams quinoa cream
. 1 tsp vanilla extract
. 3 tbsp rum
. pumpkin spice to taste
. 30 grams dark chocolate in small pieces
. coconut milk as needed
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients except the coconut milk
2. Add coconut milk to the mixture until the pudding has the preferred thickness.
3. Warm on low heat, stirring continiously
